About
These are one nurse's study notes — written by hand, typed up for the web — published so that other nursing students can read them for free.
They are written against the Indian Nursing Council syllabus and organised the way the syllabus is taught: subject, then chapter, then topic. A subject is stored once and tagged with every course it serves, so Anatomy & Physiology is the same set of notes whether you are reading it for B.Sc Nursing, GNM or ANM.
How the notes are made
Every page here was written by hand on paper. Those handwritten pages are photographed and typed up so they can be read on a phone, searched, and reached from a search engine. Nothing is copied from a textbook and nothing is generated. What you are reading is her notebook, set in type.
Typing them up is also what makes them usable. Handwriting cannot be searched, cannot be read aloud by a screen reader, and cannot be resized by anyone who needs bigger text. Every topic still opens with a short summary before the notes themselves, so you can tell in a few seconds whether the page answers the thing you are actually stuck on — which is what matters when you are revising the night before an exam. Before a topic goes live she reads the typed version against her own paper and signs it off. Nothing is published that she has not checked.
Who writes them
The author is a practising nurse. She is not named here, by her own choice, and there is no profile to read. The notes stand on whether they are useful to you.
What this is not
Nothing on this site is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for your prescribed textbooks, your clinical instructors or your own judgement. These are student notes for examination preparation. They can contain mistakes. Where they disagree with your textbook or your teacher, follow your textbook or your teacher, and please tell us so the page can be corrected.
The notes are free to read and there is nothing to sign up for. If that ever changes, it will be said plainly here first.
